Shortly after purchase, he felt 430hp wasn't enough. A trip to
Coastal Chassis Dyno remedied that problem. First a 418ci, LS3 long
block V8 - with forged internals - was prescribed. Then it was
topped with a Whipple supercharger and all the necessary fuel and
ignition goodies to make it monster. All the tire shredding power
is sent to the rear-end through six speed manual transmission, with
a SPEC-3 Clutch and lightened, billet aluminum flywheel, plus
G-Force Outlaw Axles ensuring the rear end can take repeated abuse.
The result is a dyno certified 1000hp, MONSTER C6, Corvette! Of
course what good is all that muscle without a little flash? A quick
walk around will reveal this Grand Sport is dressed to impress.
With a glass smooth, grey body, over a red and black interior. All
riding on staggered, forged, Weld racing wheels (18x7 up front and
17x11 in back) wrapped in sticky Micky Thomson tires up front and
M&H drag radials out back. In case the sound of the cammed
engine and angry Corsa exhaust didn't give you enough warning; a
custom fitted carbon fiber hood - allowing the supercharger to peak
through - with matching carbon fiber splitter, make sure you know
