consignment, this beautiful 1956 Cadillac Sixty Special! During the
66 years on the road, this car has clocked a mere 522.6 miles per
year on the odometer that currently reads 34,494 miles. This has
been a well preserved example of a time when cars really were true
pieces of art. A 365 cubic inch V8 is mated to a Hydramatic 4 speed
transmission, neither of which have been rebuilt. Luxuries were
never a shortcoming with Cadillac and this car delivers with air
conditioning, A/M radio, power brakes, power steering, power seats,
power windows and gorgeous original gray and blue cloth interior
with leather accents. The black exterior has undergone one repaint
and really helps to set off the chrome and gold accented emblems.
This car was fitted with the optional Autronic Eye which activated
the low beams at night when it detected oncoming light from an
approaching car. This car is on it's 4th owner who still retains
the document history. Extensive service has been performed in the
last 1,000 miles including new tires, shocks, mufflers and
windshield. Rebuilt parts include radiator, brakes, treadle vac and
carburetor. The A/C has also recently been serviced. This is a true
survivor with low miles, a treasure to the right person who knows
these aren't easy to come by, much less in this good of condition.
