Cadillac XTS probably makes the most sense in Luxury trim, which is
just decadent enough to feel like a proper high-end sedan without
totally breaking the bank. The Cadillac XTS is a full-size luxury
sedan that slots below the flagship CT6 and is available in front-
or all-wheel drive configurations. The refreshed 2018 Cadillac XTS
got a revised front fascia, updated suspension tuning, and a new
version of Cadillac's CUE infotainment system. With the 2018 XTS'
revised front and rear styling, the updated car is 1.1 inches
shorter than the pre-facelift model. The Crystal White Tricoat
color harmoniously blends curves and angles in a way that hides its
girth well. It's as attractive inside as out, especially with this
year's upgrades. For 2018, the XTS has some revised styling
outside. Its profile hasn't changed, but the details are new. A
cleaner grille with more horizontal chrome trim brings it in line
with the automaker's freshest offerings. Redesigned wheels and LED
taillights round things out. It's more than just a gentle
nip-and-tuck, though, as Cadillac says its front fenders don't
carry over. Open the doors and the tan interior is in great shape
all around as well as the black carpets look brand new. Standard
features include a rearview camera, keyless entry/start, remote
start, Cadillac's CUE infotainment system with an 8.0-inch
touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, Bluetooth
connectivity, four USB ports, a 5.7-inch multi-information display
an eight-speaker Bose premium audio system, dual-zone climate
control, leather upholstery, LED headlights, and 19-inch alloy
wheels. Options and features available include heated and
ventilated front seats, heated outboard rear seats, navigation, a
heated steering wheel, and automatic parking assist. Trunk space is
a generous 18 cubic feet and can be expanded via the standard 60/40
split-folding rear seats. The 2018 Cadillac XTS comes with two
engine options including a base 3.6-liter V-6 rated at 304 hp and
264 lb-ft of torque. Ride comfort is excellent thanks to the
available Magnetic Ride Control system. The 2018 Cadillac XTS is a
big sedan, but its fuel consumption may be better than you expect!
With standard front-wheel drive, the EPA test suggests that the XTS
will sip at a rate of 19 mpg city, 28 highway, 22 combined. If you
