Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 1964
Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. The Volkswagen Beetle was a runaway sales
success for Volkswagen - with over a 23 million sold. VW expanded
on this success with a personalized, pricier coupe styled by
Italy's Carrozzeria Ghia. The car was an instant classic with
svelte styling that attracted style conscious buyers in a way the
Beetle never could. This 1964 Karmann Ghia is a rust-free, great
driving example. It's been considerably upgraded. Power is now
provided by a 'hi-po' 1968cc flat four. This little thing MOVES. No
"adequate" economically focused, air-cooled, VW power here. This
Karmann Ghia screams thanks to the four-into-one racing header and
stinger pipe. Everyone will hear you coming and going. When it's
time to reign in the speed, this car brakes with confidence, thanks
to four-wheel disk brakes. The Coral paint will turn heads when you
zip by, and the custom Burgundy and diamond patterned interior will
garner thumbs up when others peep inside. The car handles and rides
great thanks to adjustable springs and shocks up front.
Additionally, the car has updated 12-volt electric system and
higher 3rd and 4th gear for great highway cruising. This 1964
Karmann Ghia is real rocket. An Italian styled VW with the
performance of a Porsche! This 1964 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia listed
