Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is thrilled to present this super
rare 1 of 6 hard to find 2008 CAMI Hydra Spyder in our St. Louis
showroom. Everyone has seen the first amphibious car known as the
Amphicar Model 770 which is capable of going on land and water but
only at modest speeds. This amphibious car however breaks all those
rules! This bad boy is powered by an LS3 that is producing 450hp
and it's mated to a 5-speed manual transmission which makes this
beast a lot of fun! The builders have said the Hydra Spyder has
been tested at land speeds over 125mph and 46 knots on the water
all while carrying four passengers. Don't let the massive size fool
you because it only weighs 3,300 lbs and the lower hull is
constructed using 5052 alloy aluminum. The upper body is
constructed of light weight fiberglass which allows for increased
speed and performance. On land the car lifts the body up creating
enough clearance for you to drive and once it hits the water the
wheels tuck up in the wheel wells creating a smooth bottom. This
ride is for the person that wants to be noticed! You will probably
never see another one in person again that's for sure. This 2008
CAMI Hydra Spyder is offered at our St. Louis Showroom and can be
seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at
www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call
