Vehicle Description
This custom 1932 Hi-Boy Roadster is a professionally built street
rod with a Westcott fiberglass body finished in Black Imron paint
and pinstriped in red and gray by Don Tippit. The windshield tilts
out and there is a black convertible top included. It is powered by
a Chevrolet ZZ4 350ci V8 engine backed by a TH350 automatic
transmission with a high stall torque converter and shift kit.
Equipped with an aluminum intake manifold, 4-barrel Holley
carburetor, black finned aluminum valve covers, HEI Ignition,
custom built long tube headers with Flowmaster mufflers and ceramic
coated dual exhaust. Additionally, it is equipped with a Walker
aluminum radiator, stainless fuel tank, stainless steel brake lines
and 4-wheel disc brakes. It sits on a TCI frame with a custom 3.55
posi-traction 9-inch rear end and Dutchman axles as well as a
4-link rear suspension with Alden coilover shocks and a 4-inch drop
front suspension with Pete & Jakes chrome shocks. It rolls on
Halibrand wheels with radial tires. The interior features custom
upholstery by Melissa's Upholstery with red ultra-leather aircraft
material on the seat and door panels and black carpet, a Lokar gear
selector, Flaming River chrome tilt steering column and Grant banjo
steering wheel, Classic vintage gauges and a heater by Vintage Air.
