GMC Typhoon. GM was on a turbo roll in the late 80s and early 90s.
High technology was all the rage and boosting was the order of the
day. One of GM's more unique forays into Turbo, high performance,
was the GMC Cyclone truck. A variant of the compact S-10 truck
stuffed with a 4.3l V6 and messaged with a turbo charger and
bespoke suspension and body work. It was an instant performance
classic of the era. In fact, the truck made such a ruckus that GM
answered demand for a little more utility and refinement by
applying the formula to the GMC S-15 Jimmy! The Typhoon was born.
Packing 280hp, AWD, and a 0-60 time of 5.3seconds, there were very
few cars that could catch a Typhoon back in 1993. This typhoon
wears its original black paint and has very well preserved,
original leather interior. The engine was blessed with a new turbo
and fuel injectors, and it also rides on fresh tires. It runs and
drives very well. It Pulls onto boost with authority and shifts,
stops, and steers very well. With only 2200 produced, these are a
VERY uncommon sight on the road. A cult classic, these are
skyrocketing in value. If you absolutely, positively, have to have
a AWD, turbo charged, SUV rocket in your stable; it'll be hard to
