Gateway Classic Cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present
this 1991 Mazda Miata Special Edition in luxurious British racing
green. Mazda surprised the world and filled a rather large void in
the car market that was left when MG and Triumph suspended sales of
their roadsters. This void went largely unnoticed until in 1988
Mazda unveiled their Miata to the world as a 1989. This little
roadster was to be fun, fast and inexpensive with a base price
starting below 13,000.00 and the car buying public went wild for
it. Those dealers lucky enough to get them in stock quickly sold
out and started taking orders on upcoming shipments. Most dealers
noticed the craze and took more than full advantage for the lust
for this incredibly fun and nimble car and invented the "adjusted
market value" sticker that was placed next to the factory sticker
where the dealer marked the car up as much as 7,000.00 more than
sticker and the public would not be deterred. Then in 1991 Mazda
released the Special Edition Miata, covered in British racing green
with biscuit beige interior, wooden Nardi shifter knob and brake
handle it was based on the B package that included air
conditioning, power steering brakes and windows, headrest speakers
and several other options. It also came with a form that once
filled out and sent to Mazda America would net you a plaque with
your name and the production number of your car, they were to build
only 4,000 making this an instant classic. This 1991 Mazda Special
edition for sale is a one owner car that has been cared for as a
member of the family since 1991. It has surely provided hours of
smiles for the original owner, and it is now ready to make any day
better for it's next owner. To quote a very wise and humble man,
"me, "A 15 minute drive in a Miata on a nice day with the top down
is like a short vacation" Options for this 1991 MX-5 Miata include:
Air conditioning, Power windows, steering and brakes, AM/FM CD
player, with headrest speakers, removal Hardtop and much more. This
