Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to offer for sale this
1966 Chevrolet Nova SS or as we always called it the Chevy II or
duce coupe for short. This beautiful Duce coupe is covered in a
high gloss black paint that has a mirror like finish and still
appears wet. The black vinyl interior with bucket seat and center
console housing the shifter for the 4-speed manual transmission
believed to be a Muncie. The engine compartment is full of small
block chevy that came from the factory with 327 cubic inches. This
no-nonsense power plant has the coveted double hump heads, a
polished 4-barrel intake and Edlebrock carburetor, H.E.I. ignition
and enough cam to have a power band that seems to start about 1,700
RPMs and give it a healthy rumble at idle. The rear differential is
a Ford 9 inch that is held in place with a pair of traction bars.
This is a real L79 327 and a true 118 super sport Nova. If you are
looking for a sweet looking, fun car to cruise to the car shows
