Datsun fans! Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to
present this 1980 Datsun 280ZX in blue on blue. We rarely get one
of these in and it sure is nice to have one here! Datsun certainly
nailed it on the design. And for somebody wanting a good one to
work with, this is a great choice because of the overall condition.
It checks all the boxes: Good body, its unmodified, and it runs and
drives great. This car could look new without a whole lot of work
or money. A true survivor. And as time goes buy, they are sure to
continue to appreciate in value. Datsun's Z was Japans answer to
America's larger, heavier Corvette, and certain European sports
cars. While not in the supercar class, they were (and still are)
very good looking, really cool cars and strong performers, thanks
to the potent 2753cc inline 6-cylinder under the hood. This one has
the 5-speed manual transmission making it even more fun to drive.
The forward opening hood makes service a breeze. This car has been
in the same family 42 years and (like all of them from the era) it
is nicely equipped. The owner indicates all installed equipment is
working, again making this car a great choice over other lesser
ones. It needs a few things, but it is lightyears ahead of most of
the ones we have seen.
