Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. The Firebird was produced from
1967-2002. Pontiac first introduced the first "Trans Am "which
consisted of an optional handling package in 1969. A limited number
were made including 689 hardtops and 8 convertibles that year. This
1977 second generation Trans Am was built from 1970-1981. In 1977
the shaker hood scoop was revised, and four rectangular headlamps
dominated the front end. The 1977 Trans Am hit unprecedented sales
numbers due to the iconic movie Smokey and the Bandit. Reaching
close to 300,000 units sold by the end of 1979.This one owner 1977
Pontiac Trans Am w/ T-tops is painted in the ever-popular tuxedo
black with gold graphics. The gold "snowflake" alloys mounted on
raised white letter tires add to the nostalgic look. The black
vinyl interior sports bucket seats with a center console. Under the
hood is a 400cid (6.6) V-8 attached to a four-speed manual
transmission. Features include power steering, power brakes, AM/FM
radio, and again T-tops!
