Gateway classic cars of Denver is proud to offer for sale this 1950
Chevrolet 3100 series pickup. Ok, we have seen many Chevrolet 3100
pickups but this one is very unique. The body of this classic truck
is a authentic patina, Classic. The interior is sparse as it was
back in 1950 with black and cream colored vinyl covers the seat and
go well against the patina paint scheme. The Drive train which
includes a 235 cubic inch inline 6 cylinder out of a 1957 Chevrolet
Bel Air and 4 speed manual transmission ( 4 on the Floor). This
truck originally was wired with 6 Volt but has been converted to 12
Volt. Let's face it, in 1950 this was a luxury truck, in today's
world if you don't have a heated steering wheel and champagne
chiller in the center console then you need to upgrade. In 1950, an
electric starter, Heat and outside mirrors were the big options.
Men had crew cuts and women wore their hair in buns. Things were
much simpler but with this said, I would add a radio to this truck
so that I could listen to Frank while styling down the road.
Options for this 1950 Chevrolet include: Seat belts, Vinyl interior
and radial tires with wide white walls.
