Debuting all the way back in 1967, Pontiac unveiled the Firebird, a competent pony car, brother to the Camaro and fellow competitor to the well-known and mighty Ford Mustang. The Firebird would see many changes over the years but one thing is for certain, they all looked good. The Firebird would see 4 generations that would span 35 years. Here we have a '69 model, 3rd and final year of the mighty first generation! The PPG Viper Red urethane paint looks very sharp, and as it should with 5 coats of clear for depth and protection and was applied only a year ago! Inside you'll find Parchment Vinyl Interior with new black carpet that looks great and goes well with the exterior. The Super Sport wheels 15x8 with radial TA's give her an aggressive stance! Under the hood is a rebuilt 326ci V8 backed by a rebuilt TCI Turbo 350 Automatic transmission with 2000 stall and Hurst Shifter. Motor was rebuilt with solid lift cam and has around 4k miles on it. Originally stated to be a west coast car with nice floors, trunk, and frame. Here are some other highlights of the build: Holley 600cfm aluminum carburetor, Petronix Electronic Ignition Module, New Springs, Shocks w/2" drop, and standard sized sway bars (front and rear). Retrosound 25x4 watt stereo w/Bluetooth and Kenwood Speakers. Current owner has had her for over 2 years, acquired from a private collection out of Ohio.
