This 1966 Mustang coupe is a fully restored example of a popular
American icon. That said, it has also had some serious performance
upgrades. The coupe body was professionally refinished in Ebony
Black (2022) with a raised fiberglass induction hood and silver GT
stripping. Period correct Cragar chrome wheels with Cooper radials
add a sharp accent. The interior was reupholstered in black vinyl -
door cards, carpeting, dash and tinted glass are in very good
condition. Our coupe is equipped with a full gauge package and
AutoMeter tachometer. The factory 289ci engine has been replaced
with a built 351ci Windsor that is estimated to output 450bhp. It
was bored .030", balanced and blueprinted. Performance upgrades
include:
• 10.5:1 Keith Black pistons
• APR rods
• World Products Windsor Jr. 58cc heads w/2.02-1.15 valves
• CompCam solid-lifter camshaft w/.596 duration
• Roller rockers
• Edelbrock single-plane aluminum intake
• Holley 750cfm Double Pumper
• Tube headers w/custom welded exhaust system
• Aluminum radiator w/electric fan
The 351 is backed by a Grand National C-4 automatic built by
Academy Transmissions and fitted with B&M shifter, trans brake
and line lock. Torque is transferred to a 9" Ford differential
w/spool locker by a custom aluminum drive shaft. The chassis is
fitted with manual disc/drum brakes w/dual master, front sway bar,
rear traction bars, 13-gallon fuel cell and rear-mounted battery.
