Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 1972 Porsche
914. The Porsche 914 was a joint development between Porsche and
Volkswagen and was an entry-level Porsche for 1970. With over 118k
examples sold over its 8-year production run, the 914 series was a
sales success for VW and Porsche. They were fun to drive,
relatively cheap to maintain, and very adaptable to performance
mods. Now these little 914s are appreciating in value and have well
established fan clubs and flowers. This 914 was a rust-free Arizona
car that's been blessed with a bigger 2.1l motor, new paint, custom
body work (pop up lights eliminated) and new wheels. This car is a
throw back to elemental sport driving. Ultra-light weight - at
1300+ lbs. - with no unnecessary frills to ad weight or dilute the
link between driver and machine. Sporting a manual trans, steering
and brakes as standard equipment; it was a go-kart for the streets!
These are getting hard to find in this condition; it won't last
long. This 1972 Porsche 914 is listed by our Tampa Showroom and can
