Green 1971 Dodge Demon. The Demon is an offshoot of the 1971-72
Dodge Dart. It was offered with a 318 cubic inch V-8 or a 340 cubic
inch V-8 four-barrel engine pushing out 275hp. The Demon came off
the line with dual exhaust, heavy duty suspension and a Rallye
instrument cluster. Believe it or not the original name for the
Demon was to be the Dodge" Beaver"! This 1971 Dodge Demon has been
upgraded to Probuilt 440 V-8 with Edelbrock aluminum Street
Performer heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake and Holley carburetor,
solid lifters, roller rockers, Hooker fender headers and custom
2.5" exhaust with manual cutouts. A 727 Torque Flight three-speed
automatic transmission has been installed with a reverse valve body
and a 3500-stall converter. All attached to a Posi rear end with a
5:15 gear ratio. BF Goodrich tires are mounted on Center Line rims.
Black vinyl racing seats are complemented with and upgraded dash
consisting of Auto Meter Gauges and a big Tach with shift light. A
15-gallon fuel cell and battery with external shut off switch are
neatly tucked in the trunk. As you have probably figured out by now
this Sublime Green 1971 Dodge Demon is one kick ass street legal
Muscle car. A no frills hold on to your seat monster!
