Vehicle Description
This Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is one of approximately 2,500 in the
Daytona 500 Pace Car edition built for the 1983 model year(only
around 500 were the manual transmission) and shows about 36,000
miles. The car is finished in white and charcoal over a tri-tone
interior, and power is from a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed
manual transmission. Equipment includes removable glass T-top
panels, Recaro front seats, aero wheels, and a stock cassette
stereo as well as electric locks, windows, and mirrors. The car is
finished in white with charcoal lower sections and features
Official Pace Car and Nascar decals on either side, Pontiac
lettering on the windshield, Daytona 500 25th Anniversary badging,
and a "Screaming Chicken" on the offset hood scoop. The 2+2 cabin
is upholstered in gray cloth with leather bolsters on its Recaro
front sport seats and rear buckets. Daytona 500 25th Anniversary
floor mats protect the matching carpets. Amenities include electric
windows, locks, and mirrors as well as air conditioning(although it
may need recharged) and a factory cassette stereo.
