Gateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee is proud to present this 2005
Jaguar XJR. Luxury, Performance, and Aesthetics all come to mind
when mentioning the high standard of automobile that Jaguar
represents and this car is a prime example of that. Coming with so
many amenities such as digital climate control, heated leather
seats, power sunroof, CD and AM/FM radio with premium factory
Alpine sound, cruise control, and antilock brakes; the Jag has all
this fresh to use for years to come. The XJR came as a variant based
on the XJ6 to bring angry levels of performance to the table as
well as coming with every luxury and appearance option from the
factory. Under the hood is a 4.2 liter Supercharged V8 which was
part of a very successful AJ8 engine family putting down a healthy
390 horsepower allowing this gorgeous machine to accelerate from a
standstill to 60 mph in the vicinity of 5.0 seconds through a ZF
6HP26 6-speed automatic transmission. With this car being capable
of excessive speeds on the road, it needs to be able to handle
above and beyond the capability of the average ride. This is
accomplished with factory air ride control suspension that adjusts
accordingly to driving conditions. The glossy black exterior is
complemented with sporty stainless mesh grilles both on the upper
grill and the lower air dam making for a balanced aggressive sporty
look without abandoning the elegant look that the body style itself
sets off. The opportunity to get an XKR or XJR of this era and
caliber dwindles everyday and this is a well kept example of one
that should not be snoozed on so don't make that mistake!
