Gateway Classic Cars is proud to presesnt this 1949 Willys Overland
Jeepster! The Jeepster was manufactured by Willys motors from 1948
until 1950. These Jeepsters were advertised as the last Phaeton
Built in America but by 1950 production came to an end, making a
very small margin of these survivors left for the collectors of the
post war automobiles. This 1949 underwent a two year rotisserie
restoration with lots of man hours and dedication spent to give
this Jeepster a top notch build. It has been totally redone from
the ground up and given a lot of new advancements that you won't
find on an old Willys, while still maintaining its originality.
Encased in all new chrome and trim including the bumpers, this
Jeepster is dawning fresh paint in the tastefully popular
"Butternut Yellow" that shines gorgeously in the summer sun with
the all new black vinyl top and side curtains. Take it out on a
nice day and recline the top down with ease, transforming it into a
whole new driving experience! Diving under the hood you'll find an
extremely rare and rebuilt 1954 Kaiser Darrin 6-cylinder with 125
HP bringing all the power needed to cruise briskly at pace with the
traffic! All that mated to the original 3-on-the-tree manual
transmission that was rebuilt as well, making your driving
experience a blast as she moves through the gears effortlessly!
This is not your everyday 1949 Willys, and I'm sure they wish they
built them this good when it came out on the market originally!
Options on this cool 1949 Willys Jeepster include: Convertible top
(Manual), Spare tire, Leather Interior and Wide White Walls,
Heater, Electric Fuel Pump and much more!
