Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1984 GMC Caballero which is in beautiful stock overall condition and priced to sell. This Caballero Amarillo was owner by the same owner from 1993 until 2021 with several documents and past titles to show this. This GMC is mostly stock and is in super nice overall condition. This GMC features a very nice re paint in factory Burgundy two tone paint, a beautiful mostly original stock cloth interior, the original 305 engine, and several recent service records. This GMC is extremely solid with great lines and gaps and no visible rust anywhere on the body and no rust on the underside and no patch panels. This GMC is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Two tone burgundy paint over Burgundy Cloth interior.
Exterior
The Factory Burgundy exterior is in beautiful restored stock condition. This GMC was repainted in Factory paint scheme some years ago and still shows very well. The paint is in great overall condition and has an excellent shine, great gloss, and is smooth to the touch. This unique color combination looks great in photos and videos but even looks better in person in the sun. The underside is very solid with no patch panels or rust issues and the body is very solid and strait with no bubbling or cracked paint. Both bumpers are in great overall condition with no dents and they both have a great shine. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires have near full tread left and are sized and drive well. The wheels are restored OEM wheels and are in great overall shape and have no curb rash and show well. The rear cargo compartment and spare tire storage area are both solid and clean and the original spare tire is still in place with the original jack. The rear tail gate works properly and the bed of this truck is very solid and in great shape. The added Futurex bed liner is in excellent shape and works well to protect the truck bed if storing or hauling any items in the bed.
Interior
The Burgundy Cloth interior of this GMC is in original stock condition. The seat covers are in terrific overall condition with no major wear, stains, or seam splits and are very comfortable. The carpet looks great with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or fading and the gauges are crisp and clear. The original stereo looks good in this GMC and thankfully the dash has not been cut for a modern stereo and works and sounds great. The original door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. All interior lights and gauges work as they should including the cigarette lighter but the clock is not working. The horn, stereo, wipers, and blower motor on all speeds all work. This GMC has factory air conditioning and all components remain in place and in stock configuration. Service work was performed on the AC system and it appears to currently blow cold air.
Mechanical
This GMC is in great mechanical condition and the original 305 engine still remains in the car and runs very well. Numerous systems were serviced in 8/2021 including new front and rear springs with new front and rear shocks, servicing of the brakes and cooling system, service of the AC system, and full tune up. We have driven this Caballero and it drives very well, it does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. There are no loud rattles or annoying noises. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should and were serviced. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The engine bay is very stock and original and has not been messed with or altered. The exhaust looks stock and sounds good and performs well. Functional air shocks are in working order on this truck and were replaced. This GMC has been loved and well cared for by its previous owners and the overall condition of the truck and the way it runs and drives validates that. Its an excellent driver that would show well at local car shows and cruise inns.
