Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1966
Ford Fairlane 500! In the mid 1950's Ford was ready to replace the
dated Crestline which was used across many platforms. For the new
design Ford used many design cues from the predecessor but made
many aesthetic changes. Using the name of Henry Ford's Estate near
Dearborn, Michigan known as, Fair Lane, the Fairlane was born. The
Fairlane would see seven generations across only 15 years with new
designs and changes every 2-3 years. Here we have a '66 model, and
a two door post coupe! Originally a west coast car based on DSO
code. The Oxford White paint looks really sharp and the black vinyl
interior goes well with the car and is in nice shape. The Ford
Hubcaps wrapped in Cooper Corsa Radial Tires really gives the car a
bold presence. Under the hood is a 393ci V8! Power is ran down
through a 3-speed automatic transmission and she is sporting a 3.50
gear ratio. The car runs and drives out very well and I'll add that
she has a nice exhaust note! The current owner has had her around 5
years and did the full restoration around 3 years ago. The current
owner acquired the car from a private owner. The title is clean and
clear and ready to be transferred into your name now! Whether you
are heading out for a cruise, going to your local meet, or about to
tree your opponent off the line you'll do it with a rather large
smile on your face! Options on this Fairlane include: Power
Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Hub Caps, AM Radio, and
Seatbelts. This 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 is offered by our Louisville
Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD
