Ernest Evans, aka Chubby Checker, American recording artist of
"Let's Twist." He purchased it on April 7, 1995, and owned it for
20 more years. In 2015, he traded it in for his new Mercedes at the
same dealership that maintained the car. It's equipped with a
4.2-liter engine with automatic transmission. Documentation
includes clean CARFAX with 50+ dealership service records, original
owner's manual, original lease agreement, and the title issued to
Chubby Checker in 1995. The speedometer and odometer do not work,
the radio is locked. The Mercedes-Benz W140 Chassis is a series of
flagship vehicles manufactured by Mercedes-Benz from 1991 to 1998
in sedan/saloon and coupe body styles and two wheelbase lengths (SE
and SEL). Mercedes-Benz unveiled the W140 S-Class at Geneva Motor
Show in March 1991 with sales launch in April 1991 and North
