This 1970 Chevrolet C10 is a short wheelbase fleet side pickup that has been refinished in two-tone silver and gray over black upholstery and fitted with a fuel-injected 6.0-liter LS2 V8 mated to a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission. Additional modifications include a 12-bolt rear end with 3.73:1 gears, Foose 20″ aluminum wheels, power-assisted Wilwood disc brakes, an Airlift Performance suspension, a Ridetech air suspension controller, front and rear sway bars, West Coast cylinder heads, a Fuel Air Spark Technologies intake manifold and throttle body, Doug Thorley tubular headers, a cowl-induction hood, air conditioning, and a Kenwood touchscreen headunit.
The body was removed from the frame prior to being stripped and repainted in two-tone silver and gray with red pinstriping. Noteworthy other work included stripping, smoothing, and painting the frame in an epoxy finish. Additional exterior details consist of a cowl-induction hood, aftermarket headlights, dual chrome side mirrors, gray-finished bumpers, a relocated bed-mounted fuel filler, and polished exhaust outlets exiting in front of each rear wheel.
The 20″ Foose wheels were just powdercoated in "shimmering silver" and are mounted with Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires measuring 245/40 up front and 275/35 in the rear. Braking is handled by a power-assisted Wilwood disc brakes with red-finish calipers at all four corners. The suspension has been modified and features an Airlift air-ride suspension kit and front and rear sway bars.
The interior was completed by Velocity Restorations, and is equipped with later-model bucket seats trimmed in black along with a matching dashboard and carpets. Amenities include air conditioning, power-adjustable seats, a custom center console with storage and cup holders, a Ridetech air suspension controller, and a Kenwood touchscreen headunit playing through Kicker speakers. Restomod Air vents and AC controls are also featured in the highly custom interior on this C10.
This C10 looks and sounds incredible. It is a daily drivable, head turning masterpiece that handles and accelerates better than many late-model pickups.
