If you don't like attention do not buy this truck! It draws a crowd and thumbs up wherever I go. If you're like me and you love the two-toned '70-'72 C10's then this one does not disappoint. Body off restoration with many many new parts in 2018 to present. I have some receipts totalling $14,000 but not for everything. TH350 automatic, power steering, power front disc brakes, tilt wheel, A/C. This truck was born a short bed with a 6 cylinder, 4 speed, and 4:11 rear end. It now has a 396 from a Camaro in it, circa 1969 I was told. It has roller rockers and that is all I know about the engine, runs great, no smoke, has that roller rocker sound. Holley Brawler carburetor, Edelbrock intake. HEI ignition. New spark plug wires and heat shield boots. Automatic transmission rebuilt with Raybestos red clutch high performance master kit at Precision Transmissions. Warranty until 9/2023. The truck was restored in 2018 by Etscorn's in Louisville KY. I bought it last year from the guy who bought it from Etscorn's at the big car show in Louisville. Previous owner neglected to tell me the transmission was shot, he also installed a 3:08 rear end. I had that swapped to a new Yukon 3:42 posi-trac at the time the transmission was rebuilt. New axles and bearings were installed as well. I just installed a TA Performance low profile rear end cover with bearing cap supports. New adjustable panhard bar with bushings. Cooling Components provided the radiator and dual electric fan set up. Serpentine polished aluminum drive system. Electronic A/C system. Seat looks cool with the "Chevrolet" script but I think the padding is too stiff and the next owner may want to address this. I removed the original seat brackets and installed lowering brackets to gain a couple of inches of room. Tilt steering and new steering wheel. Frame and suspension parts were powder coated. New US Mag 20" wheels and Goodyear Eagle Sport tires installed 8/2021 ($2500), less than 200 miles on them. The truck set lower in the back when I got it, I like a little rake so I installed 1-1/2" spacers under the rear springs, easily removed if you want to lower it back down. Pictures and videos tell the story of this truck. The underneath, engine bay, door jams, truck bed, and painted interior areas have the same quality show paint as the outside of the truck. Tastefully done in blue and white and shines like glass. It is a garage queen and has been to a few local car shows. I ordered a custom car cover from California Car Covers and they added mirror pockets for me ($382). I added the appropriate "10" blue and white billiard ball for the final touch. Sold as-is, no warranty. I've had some messages that I replied to and never heard back, not uncommon but please send all inquiries to my email [email protected] Thanks.
