This 1999 Chevrolet Corvette has a cool midnight style exterior and
the right speedy-looking upgrades, so it makes a terrific first
impression. But what really makes this an irresistible coupe are
all the investments in maximizing the V8's muscle - including a

The black paint is part of a later respray, and so it has the kind

The tan interior has quite a tasteful look against the black
exterior. The leather buckets power adjust to strike a nice balance
between sports car snug and all-day comfortable. C5 Corvettes come
loaded right out of the box, and this one has plenty of great
modern features. It includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual
airbags, power windows, power locks, a targa top, power steering,
and dual-zone automatic climate control. There's a real trunk in
the C5, which means it can stow the targa roof panel and extra
luggage. But those are all the virtues of a factory C5 Corvette. As
you look around the interior, there are also plenty of terrific
upgrades. The stereo is an upgraded AM/FM/CD unit with USB and
Bluetooth, and it connects to a JL Audio subwoofer and amp. Plus,
readouts on the A-pillar hint at the well-upgraded performance
package.
The fuel-injected 5.7-liter LS1 V8 is already a legend for power
and robustness, but if you look closely at this engine bay, you're
going to notice that this is one that can outpace them all. At the
heart is a ProCharger supercharger with twin intercoolers. Plus,
the consignor also states the V8 has been enhanced for performance
duty with a Comp Cams camshaft. There's also the Alky Injection
methanol kit that cools/concentrates the fuel intake and really
adds power. This mighty motor exhales with serious authority as
long tube headers feed the cat-delete X-pipe exhaust. There's even
a newer DeWitts aluminum radiator with dual Spal fans to help keep
the full package running cool. Making sure the power gets to the
ground is a fortified our-speed automatic transmission. There's
plenty of control and grip with the fully independent suspension,
adjustable ride control, Toyo Proxes tires, and drilled & slotted
four-wheel power disc brakes.
This is the slick Corvette that's built with a serious power
