tricked-out custom silver 1948 GMC restomod pickup. Apart from the
obvious, this truck is hiding some cool features. The shaved door
handles, chopped top, and lowered stance are obvious; but the rest
of the goodies aren't noticeable until one performs a closer look.
Under the hood is a monster Big Block Chevy, with 4BBL carb,
aluminum intake, and wrapped headers. The BBC is kept cool by an
electric fan, while it's highlighted by plenty of chromed goodies
and the clean-looking matte black firewall and inner fender panels.
A smooth-shifting performance-built GM TH350 3-speed slushbox
controls the gear changes, and the 10-bolt rear end w/Positrac
handles getting the power to the pavement via its fat P225/75R15
radials out back. This custom '48 is equipped with LED lighting and
can present quite the cool look at night when it's tooling around.
The Camaro front clip helps it track straight and true, and is
equipped with disc brakes for smooth, sure stopping. The bright
American Racing mags help accent the silver paint, and the radial
tires all around provide a supple ride. Inside, behind the custom
smoked glass windows, you'll find a great-smelling custom leather
and cloth interior. Done in blue, silver, and chrome, with billet
aluminum accents, this is one "classy classic cabin". VDO gauges
keep the driver informed and look good behind the polished billet
steering wheel that sits atop the chromed tilt steering column. A
double-DIN head unit provides the entertainment, and there are
speakers hidden behind attractive expanded aluminum screens. This
'48 restomod pickup has the modern amenities most are demanding,
with power brakes, power steering, power windows, cold air
conditioning, and great sounding stereo. The silver paint looks
awesome, and the custom bed cover keeps your stuff from prying eyes
(and hands). This truck is ready for both "go", and "show", and
you'll not want to trailer it to those car shows and meets - it's
