looking to enter a new car in the market and replace the aging
Fleetline. The Bel Air was a fresh design but had limited trims for
its first generation between '50-'54. The Bel Air would see 7
generations spanning 2 decades in the United States. One thing is
for certain, the second generation took the market by storm. Even
today, over 65 years later these tri-five (55-57) Chevys are
beloved by many across multiple generations. Here we have a '55
model and she has seen an extensive number of upgrades to make her
comfortable and reliable to drive. Approaching this beauty you get
enthralled with the 2-tone Sikkens Red and Black paint that creates
a nice balance and the paint is in great shape. The beige leather
interior looks inviting, very comfortable and in great condition.
Under the hood is a monster 6.2L LS3 engine putting down 525hp!
This power is ran to the ground through a 4L70E 4 speed automatic
transmission. Holding her up is a Ridetech suspension system, coil
overs, rear 4 link and strong arm control arms. Other upgrades
include: 4-wheel Wilwood Disc Brakes with Hydroboost, Hooker
Headers, Front unisteer rack and pinion steering power steering
system, Vintage Air and much more! Sitting on 18" and 20" Chrome
Ridler 695 wheels and BF Goodrich Radial TAs gives her and
aggressive stance. She has a 9" Moser Rear end and 3:55 gears. This
work save for the paint was finished about 3 years ago. Current
owner has had her for nearly 7 years, acquired from a private party
in Georgia. She is titled as a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air and is clean
