rare and collectable 1969 Chevrolet Impala Custom SS 427. This is
truly a fine example of what Detroit was capable of producing
during the muscle car era. Very rare indeed this two owner Impala
with the Custom option combined with the SS and 427 options makes
this one of only about 170 cars built with these much sought after
options. Recently refinished in Dover White with a classic black
vinyl roof, and black vinyl interior with very comfortable bucket
seats and spacious back seat. To make this car even more desirable
is the fact that this was the last year for the Impala name to be
used on a Chevrolet until the mid 90's. This is an example of a car
that should create much in the way of demand on collector scene.
The rebuilt 427 motor has aftermarket headers on it with the
original exhaust manifolds in the trunk, Four speed rebuilt manual
transmission with the factory Four speed shifter, and a new heavy
duty clutch, and Air conditioning ,P/S and Power front disc brakes.
The front end has been refreshed with new ball joint and tie rods.
Also we need to tell you about the in dash mounted auto meter
tachometer that adds a nice period correct accent to the cabin. We
also need to mention the F-40 suspension that came with stiffer
springs and heavy duty shock absorbers, and the 3:55 posi -traction
rear end. The car also has an after market AM/FM/Aux Capable sound
system that can provide the soundtrack you are looking for. And
additional gauges tastefully mounted under the dash for oil
pressure, temperature and voltage. And lets not forget the iconic
