Although there is no reverse gear, this Sprint Car has 3 forward gears that turn the rear wheels through a stock '32 rear end geared 3.78 for great off-the-line acceleration as well as performance at speed. Since there's a gas pedal on one side and a clutch on the other in the cockpit of this one-seat racer, braking is controlled by the pull lever to the left of the seat between the body and the exhaust. There are brakes on all four wheels of the vehicle.
