Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is proud to present this 1966
Ford Thunderbird Landau Coupe!! Wow, the history of the Thunderbird
is rich! Debuting all the way back in 1955, the Thunderbird was
Ford's immediate response to the newly marketed Corvette. Rushed
from idea to prototype in under a year! The Thunderbird would
become one of Ford's longest produced cars. Spanning from
1955-1997, and 2002-2005, the Thunderbird would see not just a few
redesigns, but 11 generations in total! Here we have a 1966, the
last year of the fourth generation. The pink paint is in good
shape, shows very well and the black vinyl top is complemented by
the nice conditioned black vinyl interior. Under the hood is a
390ci V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission.
