Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1970 Buick
Electra 225 Custom. A prominent flagship of the Buick line and the
land yacht that kicked off the seventies! Not a lot on the outside
had changed following the 69 year, aside from a small difference in
the center grill, but the big difference was the power under the
hood! This '70 Electra is powered by a 455 cubic inch V8 engine and
is backed by a THM400 3-speed automatic transmission. Style was not
ignored by Buick; it is coated in the beautiful subtle green with
an exciting interior fabric pattern that accents it nicely. The
Buick has had a recent tune up that included many new parts. Some
notable work done recently includes a transmission reseal and new
oil pan/gasket, new shocks, new tires, new muffler, new valve cover
gaskets, new interior carpet, new power seat and window relays, and
working A/C! The big Buicks are known for their great ride and
comfortable interiors and this 225 custom will not disappoint.
