Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to present this 1946 Ford
Deluxe convertible. Immediately after the end of World War 2,
American automobile companies had started to ramp up production for
civilian automobiles once again. This '46 Convertible is from the
rebirth of the American auto industry. Under the hood is a smooth
running V8 engine paired to a 3-speed manual transmission shifted
from the column. The Burgundy paint compliments the tan convertible
top well, and the white wall tires shine almost as bright as the
shiny trim. The current owner has had the Ford since 2014, and is
believed to be only the third owner. The last two owners were both
in the family. the great amount of care can be seen in all parts of
the vehicle, from the exterior condition, to the detailed interior,
especially tot he mechanical soundness of this beautiful antique.
