Ford Woody Wagon. 1949-1951 Fords have a place near and dear to
1950s custom car aficionados. This 1951 Woody is a typical example
of the style and look of that popularized these cars with the hot
rod and custom crowd. A 1951 woody wagon is a rare and desirable
car. This one is a real head turner, with mile deep black paint,
fresh wood paneling, and an awesome lowered stance! The aggressive
stance is thanks to airbags at all four corners, allowing for an
adjustable ride height and smooth ride. Synching that cool stance
is a set of staggered, deep dish, 15" chrome Crager wheels. The
interior brings the whole woody theme together with wood paneling
in place of the door cards and rear interior panels. The car also
sports buckets up front with a center console and a bench in the
rear - all wrapped black leather with canvas inserts. This 51 Ford
was blessed with cold AC, AM/FM Radio, power brakes, steering and
windows. Motivation is provided by a 289 v8, spinning a 3-speed
automatic with overdrive. Overall, a nice top-dollar custom that
has aged into a top-level driver. A great ride for cruising and
