Vehicle Description
1955 Chevrolet BelAir -Frame Off Restoration -A/C -Show &
Cruise
You will love this beautifully restored '55 and it is ready to turn
the key and drive to the shows and anywhere the road takes you! Our
seller purchased this quality-built and modified BelAir Hardtop
about six years ago and has enjoyed showing it (and taking trophies
home), as well as extending cruising. Now, in his eighties, he is
using it less and is ready to let her go to a new home. The paint
is a show quality deep, rich Indigo Blue. The Custom Black Interior
features Bucket Seats with a center console and floor shifter. It
is fully appointed throughout including Dakota Gauges, enhanced
dashboard trim, a Budnik Steering Wheel, tasteful use of chrome
accents, a nice audio system (CD trunk mounted), and of course, Air
Conditioning. Other comfort features include a power Drivers Seat,
Power Steering, and Brakes. The suspension is upgraded with a
dropped spindle front end and Disc Brakes. The Horsepower is
delivered from the mild build of a 350 cubic inch Chevrolet block
with a Holley 4bbl and Weiand 1546 manifold, coupled to a Turbo 400
Transmission and Lokar Shifter on the console. It has Dual Exhaust
with Magnaflow Mufflers. Note the undercarriage detail and
condition. The restoration has about 10 years and less than 15,000
miles and, to the new owners advantage, it's well sorted and ready
to enjoy from the day you own it. This is a long range cruiser with
a comfortable ride experience. You will be impressed when you see
this '55 in person and it will stand out at the shows as well as on
the road. This is an outstanding buy for a finished, "turnkey"
Frame Off restoration.
