Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is happy to offer this gorgeously
understated 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle out of the Houston showroom.
While this Chevelle started its life as a basic, garden variety
Chevelle 300, that certainly is no longer the case! The builder on
this baby added the durable & street ready LS1 for reliability and
performance, and then paired it up to a quick shifting 4L60E
automatic transmission for some sure shifting fun into its 3:23
gearing in the Posi-Trak rear end. He also has added a 4 wheel disc
brake package, stainless exhaust, the serpentine belt system, A
DeWitts big core aluminum radiator, a set of Hedman shorty headers,
MSD wires & a newly added Vintage Air R134 A/C set up for cruising
comfort. The wiring was all redone when the Dakota digital gauges,
the retro fit AM/FM radio & the "Iddiit" tilt steering column were
being installed, so that is a huge bonus when looking at the
classics. The interior shows pretty close to new with the recent
addition of the killer looking two-tone vinyl upholstery and the
"Hi Boy" floor mounted shifter. The 1965 Chevelles are always a
favorite at the local car shows & this one guarantees to be no
different!
