Classic Car Addict is proud to present this highly documented 1965 Plymouth Satellite for sale in our Mesa, AZ showroom. Some of our favorite cars are those that that you never expect. This 1965 Plymouth Satellite is an unassuming car, a cool hardtop in Plymouth Light Blue, but you'd never think that there was a predator lurking within. Not quite a pure sleeper, but it's a subtle factory hot rod that hits all the right notes with a 440 cubic inch big block and an automatic 3-speed waiting inside.
The big 440 cubic inch V8 is a perfect fit in the Satellite's engine bay and it's so clean and tidy that you can see where all the money was spent. Mopar Performance dress-up parts work well with the aluminum max wedge flat top crossram intake manifold and Hemi Orange paint on the block, so it looks fast before you even turn the key. The 440 block is punched to 30 over. Dart 440 aluminum heads, 1.6 roller rocker, and crank forged steel chambered journals, balanced. The intake gasket and heads were ported so they all flow the same. Exhausted ported the heads, gasket, and manifold. Additional upgrades are a Hemi 80 gallon per hour fuel pump, light weight hi-amp starter, roller cam, MSD electronic ignition, aluminum radiator, power steering, power brakes and a new transmission by AZ Precision transmission. Block number 2536430-9, intake 2402728-1, Edelbrock carbs 1407 9275 and 1407 2416, exhaust manifold 2402334-1 and left-hand driver exhaust manifold 2402338-1. SSBC front disc brake calipers, Wilwood disc on rear with a Currie rear end.
A neat car that only gets better the more you look at it, this industrial strength Plymouth offers a lot of performance at an attractive price. It won’t last long, call us today, 480-256-1459.
