Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1917 Ford
Model T Touring. This black tin Lizzie reminds you of why the model
T has been known as the greatest innovation of the century. It is
still regarded as the car that brought us a lot of the things our
society has today such as suburbs, the assembly line and a standard
40 hour work week. A keen eye will notice that this Model T is a
1914 body and that's because it is. According to the owner this
1914 style body is a reproduction directly from Ford and was placed
on a 1917 titled chassis. As you walk around the vehicle you'll
notice nice details like the brass front end, wooden wheels and
running boards. Take a seat inside and you'll feel ready to wave at
passersby. The front and rear bench seats are upholstered in a
comfortable vinyl and the vinyl soft top will shield the passenger
from inclement weather. According to the owner the car has received
mechanical improvements for ease of drivability such as 12 volt
electric system, upgraded water pump, modified brakes and more. If
you're looking for a handsome parade car or simply something fun
and different to zip around in, this is the one you want to own!
Options include vinyl interior, manual top, and wooden wheels
wrapped in bias ply tires.
