Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1964
Dodge Dart Convertible! In the late 50s Dodge was looking to add a
new car into their line up in their low-price segment. Working to
compete with the big 3, GM, Ford and Chrysler, Dodge unveiled the
Dart and 1960 model year sales were strong! The Dart would see 4
generations spanning 16 years; excluding the Fiat-based car in
2012. Here we have a '64 model, the 2nd year of the 3rd generation
and a beautiful convertible at that. The white paint with light
blue soft top looks great and takes you back in time. The top looks
fairly new, nice shape. The blue vinyl interior completements the
top and is also in great order. Powering this fun little Dart is a
crate 360ci Magnum V8 running the power down through a 5-speed
manual transmission. How does it get better than that? V8!
Convertible! 4-Speed! She is sporting a 8.75 rear end with 3.55
gear ratio. Plenty of power for red lighting if you like but can
also have an enjoyable cruise. Current owner has had her for 17
years, acquired from a private owner. The title is clean and clear
and ready to be transferred into your name now. Don't miss out on
your chance to have a very fun, very clean little convertible that
has the bite to match the bark! Options on this Dart are: Power
Steering, Automatic Convertible Top, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts,
and Radial Tires. This 1964 Dodge Dart Convertible is offered by
our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including
