Vehicle Description
Patina is like a lightning rod for most of us today telling our
minds to "get ready for something special!" and this 1956 Chevrolet
150 certainly delivers. Because beneath the fashionably worn-in
style is upgraded V8 power, an upgraded suspension, four-wheel disc
brakes, and a custom/comfy interior. So you know this one was made
to be an awesome and distinct cruiser.
A patina'd car rolling down the road looks like it has lived an
interesting life thus far. In fact, this one looks like this one
has earned its worn-in finish where time has eroded the black into
this awesome style on basically every panel. They have since
cleared it over to lock in the style, and pinstriping was added to
emphasize its new life as a cool cruiser. You can tell there was a
nice investment to bring some shine back to the bumpers, grille,
and jet-like hood ornament. And not only is the full-length trim
bright, but it also shows how well the body panels fit. Plus, the
lowered suspension and polished 18-inch Ridler wheels make for an
awesome stance.
The black interior has a nice blend of tasteful upgrades and
classic style. For example, you have the two classic rows of bench
seats, but they have the fresh style and comfy cloth inserts to
make it quite inviting. And the carpet is quite nice, too. The door
tops and dash have the worn-in patina style that is a nice reminder
about what makes this cruiser truly unique. And because you'll want
to drive this one, it has upgrades like a wood-rimmed chrome
steering wheel, a tilt column, dual auxiliary gauges under the
dash, and an upgraded AutoMeter gauge panel. There's even a
retro-style AM/FM digital tuner for upgraded driving music.
The inner walls of the engine bay may still go with the patina
theme, but the heart in the middle is pure upgrades. The 350 cubic
inch V8 has a nice presentation with a bold orange block and black
Chevy valve covers with a matching air grabber. Plus, the V8 has
been enhanced for power with a four-barrel carburetor, Holley
Street Dominator intake, and headers that feed the X-pipe dual
exhaust. There are also supporting components like the MSD
ignition, Optima red top battery, and KKS Motorsports aluminum
radiator with electric fan. The motor fires up eagerly and has the
strong-running feeling of a true driver's classic. And this really
was upgraded to be a road-ready machine. You have an upgraded
tubular A-arm front suspension, updated rear suspension, a
three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and four-wheel
power disc brakes.
This is an exceptionally cool patina custom that's unique, sporty,
and all-around comfortable. So don't miss out on something this
distinct. Call now!
