frame-off restoration that took nearly three years, next to nothing
on this Black Beauty has been overlooked. The body of this
Thunderbird was professionally disassembled, media blasted, primed,
painted, and color-sanded with high-quality PPG products. All of
the exterior trim, bumpers, grille, taillight housings, etc. have
been sent out for refurbishment to like-new condition. The entire
drivetrain was sent out to the most qualified professionals to get
everything done right. The 390 CID V8 engine has been upgraded with
Edelbrock aluminum heads, intake, and 4bbl carburetor. Many of the
under-hood components have taken a dip in chrome and really finish
the area nicely. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic.
Everything underneath has also been gone through including front
suspension, rear suspension, U-joints, braking system, and exhaust.
The interior has new Black vinyl, new seat foam and new carpet. One
of the highlights has to be the power Black convertible roof that
folds away in the trunk area, similar to what you'd find on a
Lincoln Continental. The top turns this two-seater Roadster into an
all-weather car in a few minutes with the flip of a switch, all
thanks to nearly every part in the system being replaced with new
or rebuilt components. The AM radio has been swapped with an
AM/FM/Bluetooth system, there's a tilt steering column and a clock.
This special T-Bird has been the recipient of an amazing
restoration and has traveled less than 500 miles since completion,
