Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer for sale on
consignment this amazing 1930 Ford Model A Truck offered by our
Arizona showroom! At first glance the brain receptors start firing
off a whole range of emotions as your eyes wander through the
endless custom touches performed on this street rod. This
fiberglass body has been shaved, chopped, channeled, and even
extended 5 inches for additional leg room and finished in a
gorgeous gray paint job. Slide into the black leather heated seats
and take in how much room there is for you and a passenger,
seriously, you'd be amazed. Scan your eyes across the dash and
admire the full array of GlowShift Gauges including a tachometer,
speedometer, fuel, oil pressure, water temp and voltage. Roll up
the power windows and turn on the Vintage Air Conditioning on those
hot summer days and your passenger can even set their cold drink in
the cup holder on the dash. This thing could offer the comfort and
size of an SUV! Shaved door handles can sometimes be a pain when
dealing with a loss of power but this truck has you covered. There
is a remote door popper on the key fob, there are buttons to pop
the doors open from the inside and if there is a battery issue
there are manual door poppers both under the driver's seat and
under the cab on the outside. This sits on a double Z'd frame that
measures a 116 inch wheel base for a proportionate appearance. Peak
into the bed of this truck and admire not only the fabrication of
the wild rear fenders but also the GE brand, abrasion resistant
plexiglass panels that show off the Kugel chromed and polished
independent rear suspension, Ford 9 inch rear end, 3.73 rear
differential and inboard braking system. Things that may seem out
of proportion could be the large 20" Old School wheels in the rear
but as you scan towards the front to see the 18" wheels up front
with the massive Wildwood brake calipers and slotted rotors, you
begin to see the theme of this truck and it just screams the word
"menacing". Continuing the "menacing" theme you can't look past the
JEGS LS327 engine with an estimated 350 horsepower and 340 foot
pounds of torque. The engine is dressed up with GM aluminum heads
and intake, a 660 CFM Summit Racing carburetor provides the fuel
while a MSD ignition supplies the spark. Creating a symphony of
sound you have a set of Jayster Lake style ceramic coated headers
which mate to a 2.5 inch exhaust that finishes through Magnaflow
mufflers. As you stand to admire the jewelry box that is the engine
it's hard not to take notice of the chromed independent front
suspension with the Alldan Eagle coilovers and those 6 piston
Wilwood brakes that are matched up to a Kugel under dash power
brake unit and pedal assembly. Helping you row through the 5
forwards gears is a Tremec TKO 600 manual transmission matched to a
Hurst shifter and heavy duty clutch. Keeping things cool comes by
way of an aluminum radiator that sits in a custom radiator shell
and dressed with an Alumacraft grille. Ride in comfort knowing the
entire cab has been covered in Dynamat to quiet down the road
noise, hit the open road with the confidence of making it to your
destination thanks to a 13 gallon aluminum gas tank from Coyote
Gear while a Holley fuel pump with inertia shut off switch,
rollover valve and PTFE fuel lines help to aid in feeding that
hungry beast up front. Every inch of this truck has been touched
with a high attention to detail and functionality. This is a great
driver and it commands just as much attention sitting still.
