Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to present this 1956 Ford
Thunderbird for sale. This Thunderbird is Fiesta Red with a white
hardtop and red interior. It has a 312 CI V8 and an automatic
transmission. The first-generation Thunderbird was introduced in
1955 and had a three-year run until 1957. The Thunderbird is always
compared to the Corvette, but Ford intended the car to be more
about personal luxury and comfort than it was about performance.
Powered by a peppy V8 engine, combined with their relatively light
weight produced a brisk ride. This Thunderbird is equipped with
AM/FM radio, manual convertible top and a hard top, hub caps with
wide white walls and seat belts.
