Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1954
Volkswagen Beetle. The 1950-59 generation of Beetle is up on the
top of the list for the air cooled enthusiast. While retaining
plenty of the charm of the earlier models but also nice upgrades
like a single piece oval rear window, updated instrument panel and
some mechanical improvements, the Beetle of the 50s is highly
revered in VW circles. This 54 example is quite charming in it's
two tone paint job and white wall tires. As you walk around the
vehicle you'll notice nice details like the bumper mounted fog
lamp, windshield visor and wood luggage rack. A particularly
charming feature are the electronically actuated turn signal sticks
known as "Semaphores" by the VW purists! Take a seat inside and
you're greeted by a fully carpeted interior and beige fresh looking
vinyl upholstery. The dash layout is clean and simple with a retro
style modern radio and a cute little flower vase. Under the rear
hood is a flat 4 cylinder engine and is paired to a 4 speed manual.
Imagine how this little bug can get up and go! These Beetles have a
look and sound that is iconic in the car world. If you're looking
for a Beetle with pizzaz and style this is the one you want to own.
Options include AM/FM radio, spare tire, hub caps, seat belts,
vinyl interior and white wall tires.
