Chevy Corvair in Red with a Black interior and Black Convertible
top. The Corvair remains the only American designed mass produced
passenger car with a rear-mounted air-cooled engine with over 1.8
million produced between 1960 and 1963. This example is a first
generation example was produced 1960-1964. It carries the 2375 cc
2.4 L Flat six known as the Chevy Turbo Air 6 carrying a hotter
cam-shaft, a revised dual spring cylinder heads and new 2" exhaust.
It was able to produce 98 hp @ 4800 rpm's and 125 ft lbs @ 2800
rpm. This was mated to a synchronized 4 speed transmission.
Self-adjusting brakes were added in 1963 as well. This 63 has fresh
Red paint with a Black top and black vinyl interior while the rest
of the car is coordinated in black and red trim. The 60's Corvair
is truly iconic and this is a great way to step back into the time
when gas was cheap and love was in the air, drop the top and enjoy
