Gateway Classic Cars of Milwaukee would like to present this 1983
Mercedes 300SD. This model ran from 1979 to 1991 in the 4-door
sedan and from 1981 to 1990 in a 2-door coupe with a combined total
falling just short of 900,000 units produced. The Mercedes Benz
name is the oldest in automotive history having the first recorded
patent on a gas-powered vehicle dating all the way back to 1886.
For 135 years the Mercedes Benz has been the leader in engineering,
luxury, and design. By the late 1960s, Benz was really coming into
their own in the American luxury market. Competing head-to-head
with the American heavy hitters like Cadillac and Lincoln. By the
1980s the name was synonymous with elegance and prestigious. Our
featured 300SD is powered by a 3.0 liter Inline 5-cylinder Turbo
Diesel motor paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The car
shows beautifully in cream colored paint with tan leather interior.
The car seats 5 comfortably in the spacious and elegant cabin. The
car also features a power sunroof, woodgrain dash, modern Pioneer
AM/FM/CD radio, power steering, power brakes, power windows, cruise
control, tilt steering, power leather seats and even still has its
original first aid kit on the rear deck. This Mercedes is a
beautiful time capsule and was previously titled in Arizona.
