General Motors from 1966-1992 as a personal luxury car. Becoming
the first front-wheel-drive to be produced by an American
manufacturer since 1937. This 1984 Toronado is a third- generation
model built from 1979-1985. Basically, smaller than its predecessor
but still retaining all the luxury features Toronado was built on.
This was the last generation for body-on-frame models built with
front wheel drive and longitudinally mounted engines.This '84
Oldsmobile Toronado is painted in painted in a medium gray with a
darker gray Landau padded vinyl roof and matching bodyside
moldings. A set of wire wheel covers mounted on whitewall tires, an
abundance of chrome and a set of opera lights gives this Toronado
an elegant look. The luxurious interior does not disappoint with
its pillow top gray velour seating and plush carpet tied in with
walnut style wood paneled dashboard and steering wheel. Under the
hood of this beauty is a 5.0 V-8 4BL OHV engine attached to a
four-speed Turbo- Hydro-Matic overdrive transmission. Comfort
features include 50/50 split front seats with power driver's seat,
air conditioning, AM/FM/cassette radio, tilt wheel, cruise, power
windows, power locks, power steering and power brakes. This Olds
also features and elegant aftermarket waterfall style chrome
