$200,000 frame off build! We have a 3 inch binder full of
documentation. Every part of this car was redone and several
upgrades were made. It now has 4 wheel disc brakes, $13,000 updated
air ride, posi rear, electric wipers, stereo conversion and much
more.
Only 855 of the top of the line Eldorado Sevilles were made. The
Seville wasn't just a Cadillac with extra trim and features. The
rear was entirely redesigned. It was more rounded with inboard
tailfins and a redesigned bumper. Yes, they were fully equipped
too.. Each came with tri-power carbs, air ride, Saber wheels and
full power accessories.
EXTERIOR: I don't need to go on about how gorgeous this car is, it
speaks for itself. No rust ever Texas car. The body is straight as
a rifle barrel, gaps are square and flush. The color is stunning,
we have the paint formulas. The metal flake is laid out evenly, the
finish is like glass. The abundance of chrome, stainless, anodized
trim has all been restored to show quality. It rolls on a set of
17x7 billet Eldorado Saber wheels that cost $4,175. Each is wrapped
with radial wide white walls. The glass is crystal clear, the power
windows work fast. All the weather strips and rubber seals were
replaced.
INTERIOR: The steering was professionally restored at a cost of
$1,865. The instrument cluster was restored. The dash pad was
reupholstered, it has the built in a/c vents. The factory radio was
updated with modern electronics, there is an auxiliary plug.
Everything works- interior lights, gauges, even the clock. The
headlight switch was $500! The door panels are completely restored,
they are beautiful enough to hang on a wall like art. There are so
many artistic features: look at the rear armrests, kick panels,
even the pedals are cool. Seats are reupholstered in a sharp two
tone with contrasting buttons. It has fold down armrests front and
back. The white headliner is trimmed with chrome ribs. It has
Eldorado floor mats on the floor. Features include power windows, p
vent windows, p 6 way seat, p trunk and power antenna.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Completely rebuilt motor, custom pistons,
custom ground cam. Rebuilt heads by Dover Cylinder Head. Show
quality tri-power carb set up was $3,629. It has a restored correct
air cleaner assembly. Upgraded power brake system. Upgraded
electric wiper system. It also features factory power steering, air
conditioning and windshield washers. Every component is restored.
Wiring was replaced. It looks new down to the screws.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has a working power trunk release. Inside is
beautiful. It has been professionally lined in premium square loop
red carpet with bound edges. The air ride system is proudly
displayed. It has a spare with matching cover and a restored jack.
The bottom of the trunk lid is glossy, weatherstrip is new.
UNDERSIDE: Under this car is new. The body was off the frame. The
floors are clean metal. They were prepped and painted back to
original with red oxide primer. The chassis was completely
disassembled, prepped and painted semi gloss black. The entire
suspension and steering was rebuilt, detailed and upgraded. The
original air suspension was replaced with a $13,071 Ridetech
computer controlled air ride system. It also has Fox gas shocks in
back. Custom fabricated, all stainless exhaust system. The joints
are welded, the mufflers are polished like chrome, it has
resonators in back. All new upgraded brake system. It has disc at
all 4 wheels, drilled and slotted rotors in front. New e-brake
system. New fuel system including the tank, straps, sending unit,
electric fuel pump and lines. Looking up at the motor it's
spotless, it has a high torque starter. The trans was upgraded with
a completely rebuilt Turbo 400 automtic. There is a matched set of
grooved aluminum flywheel cover and trans pan. The driveshaft
assembly was restored. In back it has a complete new Ford 9 inch
rear with 3.50 posi unit. Every nut and bolt looks new under this
car.
All the stars have aligned to make such a special car. It will be
the star of the show, center of attention anywhere it goes. It is a
