Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to present this very
unique 1949 Buick Model 46-S Sedanette. Built by iconic car builder
Mike Fennel. Fennel Enterprises built cars for movies and
television programs and built custom cars for the movie stars as
well. They did extensive restoration and custom work for the famed
Blackhawk Museum. Extraordinary automobiles were produced in their
SoCal shop for nearly four decades. This incredibly beautiful
"Abalone Green" Buick features "tuck 'n roll" parchment leather
interior. Delivering power under the hood is a 425 ci 7.0 liter
Nailhead engine with automatic transmission, Fat Man front end with
a 12" Chevy rear end and air ride suspension. Every element of the
mechanical build was done in Mike Fennel's fashion. Mike built this
particular '49 Buick strictly for his own personal use. The
attention to detail and understated elegance of it's many build
aspects make the car truly remarkable. The amount of custom content
makes the car a joy to drive and a thing of beauty to show! Loaded
with creature comforts such as A/C, power steering, power brakes
and windows, and a modern sound system. An extensive photo
collection documenting it's restoration is also included with the
car. For more information about this vehicle, contact our
