This 1986 Ford F250 Supercab XL 4x4 Pickup is a very, very nice
original Bullnose from the Pacific NW. This truck was an extra
vehicle for this family and always pampered and maintained. We love
the trucks from the Pacific NW because they are always solid and
rust free trucks that are cared for. The body on this truck is
extremely nice and very clean. The paint appears to be all original
and the colors are Desert Tan Metallic and Light Desert Tan. The
paint is still excellent for being original with only the minor
normal stone chips you see from driving. This truck has the nice
aluminum stock moldings. All of the chrome and moldings are
original and still really nice. Even the front grill is still
really nice. The underside is very clean and solid as you can see
from the undercarriage photos on our website. There are no rust
issues with this truck and there never have been.
The interior is is in excellent original condition and everything
appears to be original. The vinyl seat is original and in
unbelievable condition and the interior plastics are all in great
condition. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn
signals are all working. All of the gauges work and the heat,
wipers, horn, and windshield wipers work. This truck does have
Cruise but it is not working. It is an excellent example of a stock
interior.
Mechanically this truck runs and drives great!! The engine is the
original 460 V8 (7.5L) that runs strong with no issues or red flags
that we could find. The engine appears to be all stock. It recently
had a new water-pump and radiator installed. The transmission is
the C6 Automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the Borg
Warner Manual Transfer Case. The 4WD works like it should. The rear
end is the Sterling 10.25 with 3.55 Gears and the front axle is the
Dana 44 TTB with 3.55 gears. This is all sitting on a newer set of
Aluminum Mag Wheels with 285/75/16 All Terrain Tires. Great truck
to drive every day or occasional use.
We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and
accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures
are never touched up or photoshopped. What you see is an accurate
representation of the vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show
you everything so you can get a true representation of the
vehicle.
