Vehicle Description
This 1966 Chevrolet C10 custom pickup is powered by a 350ci V8
engine with a TH400 automatic transmission. A true short-bed pickup
with a fresh Rust Orange paint job and new interior. It has been
taken down to the frame, sandblasted and painted a luxurious layer
of Rust Orange metallic paint. Color sanded and buffed for the best
possible finish with the underside just as clean and detailed as
the top. After painting, the pickup was fitted with all new glass,
new weatherstrip and felts, new chrome bumpers and a new oak bed.
It was fitted with an updated American Autowire classic wiring kit,
then assembled with care. The custom interior was completed new
during the build and includes a newly upholstered bench seat with
Saddle Brown leather with tan plaid cloth inserts. The door panels
were completed with the same materials as the seat and the sun
visors are upholstered as well. The dash was treated to a
clean-looking cream color paint job along with the roof interior,
rear interior walls and gas tank. The Dakota Digital gauges are
framed by a new wood-rimmed over-brushed metal steering wheel and
connected to a new steering column. Also has new tires and new
rims. The engine was completely rebuilt and includes a new
Edelbrock intake, new distributor, new alternator and a new
starter. The engine is supported by a new aluminum radiator, new
battery and a complete new dual exhaust. This beautiful custom
pickup is sitting on a new drop-spindle front disc brake upgrade
kit that is supported by a new brake master cylinder and vacuum
booster. It is rolling on painted steel wheels with chrome center
caps, chrome trim rings and new Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. This
newly built custom pickup is ready for a long cruise or car show.
